• Lakshman/LaxmanJhula
Besides a famous spiritual destination; LakshmanJhula is also known as the adventurous
destination. The hanging bridge of the place connects two villages of Uttarakhand, i.e., Tapovan
of district TehriGarhwal&Jonk of district PauriGarhwal. The view one can witness from the bridge
is really mesmerising.
• Raja Ji National Park
Raja Ji National Park in Rishikesh is actually a Tiger Reserve and amalgam of Rajaji Sanctuary,
Chilla Sanctuary and Motichur Sanctuary of Uttarakhand. Established in the year of 1983, this
sanctuary covers the three districts of Uttarakhand, i.e., Dehradun,
Haridwar&PauriGarhwal.
• NeelkanthMahadev Temple
Dedicated to "Devo k Dev"; Lord Shiva, Neelkanth Temple is perched at an altitude of 1330m in
Rishikesh. Amidst the sylvan forest; this temple is very famous among travelers and local people
as well. This temple has a great accreditation that at this place; Lord Shiva consumed the poison
originated from the sea.
• The Beatles Ashram
One of the preferred destination for yoga, meditation and photography; Beatles Ashram is one of
the favourite tourist attractions in Rishikesh. Earlier known as, "Maharishi Mahesh Yogi's
Ashram"; this ashram comes to an eye of the people after the arrival of the famous band group;
Beatles in 1968.
• NeerGaddu Waterfall
A short trek and a famous picnic spot; "Neergaddu Waterfall" is situated just a distance of 9 km
from the main city of Rishikesh. The captivating beauty and spectacular waterfall of the

• Kunjapuri Temple
A renowned Shakti Peeth, located at a height of 1700 meters; Kunjapuri Temple is the best place to
witness wonderful view of Sunrise & Sunset. There is a mythological belief behind this temple that
the burned chest of Goddess Sati had fallen here and so a Shakti Peeth was established at the same
place.
•Patna Waterfall
Located in the Patna Village of Rishikesh; Patna Waterfall is a stupendous waterfall and a
beautiful trek. Apart from the waterfall, it is also famous for the limestone caves located next
to the waterfall.
